Sarkozy Pledges Support for Greek Economy

    Nicolas Sarkozy,
France's president, said yesterday that detailed plans have been drawn
up for providing financial support to Greece. Sarkozy said that the
eurozone was ready to provide Greece with financial assistance “if
    necessary”.

“The Greek government has taken the measures that were expected of it,
the members of the eurozone must be ready to do the same...France will
do what is necessary,” Sarkozy said.

Sarkozy is the man. Greece doesn't want free money. But political support to get out of this.
(cutting down our budget, getting reasonable loans).

Does anyone really care about Greece?

Oh what else is new, yet another 3rd world country being propped up by Brussels.

    Greek politicians bankrupted the nation.
Germans instead of showing support, had fun insulting the Greek people (claiming they are lazy, suggesting they sell the Acropolis or Islands). Had they insulted the greek politicians instead, the Greeks (who are those that will have to pay the bill) would have applauded Germany, but no. Not sure what the Germans' problem is. Maybe they are jealous we have more sunshine on average than them.

Maybe this is a ploy by the German government to stop the influx of greek immigrants to Germany.

Watch out! He surely did that to sell you some Rafales or a nuclear powerplant once you'll have some
    new money.

It's ok if Greece becomes france's "bitch". They would probably treat us better than the U.S. or the Russians.

    Who is the Brit? I am a plate-breaking, gyro-eating, oliveoil-drinking Greek.
