"The Battle Ground" est une modification complète et gratuite pour le jeu Hal-Life 2 (source).
BG vous places à l'époque des guerres révolutionnaire américaines où vous pouvez vous incarner en un rebel américain se battant pour la liberté ou en un soldat de la couronne britannique maintenant l'ordre dans les colonies.
La précision du mousquet de l'époque a été parfaitement bien balancé avec le gameplay, ce qui rend le tout vraiment très divertissant.
Les animations de rechargements des pistolets pour les officiers, des mousquets pour les soldats de la ligne ou encore des fusils de l'infanterie légère sont vraiment très réussies et historiquement correctes.
Néanmoins je tiens à préciser que le jeu perd très rapidement de son intérêt lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'officier en charge du commandement, ou quand les joueurs ne respecte pas les ordres donnés ("former la ligne", "feu", "charge").

To install this game you need a source game. So Half life 2 or Orange Box will do but if you want a cheap solution - Buy Day of Defeat Source for 10 euros like i did.

Thanks very much However I'm too bad in trying to understand that. I have HL2 and Orange Box on dvd-s and I installet them from there ( btw in different folders). I then install MOD in a reccomended place into HL folder. However i don't get how 2 start everything after i've done all the stuff as there isnt and exe-file and I cant find how to start the game from Steam

NTW2 requires lots of patience. FPS do not. To each his own

PS I've learned the tricks of ntw, and I've played longer than most of you.  BTW  Ya fps is a no brainer and ya its full of immature kiddies but that's usually easily swept away, but with NTW2 you get this air of snobbyness.  (Which is why SVK hates the game lol)

PS I'm really tired so I'm being really direct and my inner Finn is coming out so ya its nothing personal.
